Voltures sun bathing

Never seen them hanging in the tree with there wings spread out, I stopped counting at 28, I bet there's over 50 in the other trees

There always hanging around here, they recently moved from around the corner to my neighbors pines here in lima

I always see
Them on the truck racks at the cement place on Cemetery Rd in Lancaster.
Dozens of them with their wings spread

TCIII,  they are there all summer, in the dead trees around there also.  If I put fish guts out in my back yard they are on them like stink on s#!+ & they eat every thing, all gone by the next day. I live about 2 miles to the east of there.

They won't touch the dead skunk in the road here.

I think they stretch out their wings like that when they are wet and they are trying to dry them out.  I see them doing that after every rain storm around here.

I shot a skunk & before I got to move it the next day they had it gone, nothing but the skin left! I don't think a person could have done a better job fleshing it!

Grab your camera, lay down in the snow, and squirt some ketchup on the ground around you for some good close-ups.

I've always wanted to try that with them,lol
