I got this great lumber from a neighbor, I'm thinking bar top. I've been wanting to build a small bar for my basement and now I'm motivated 3d08e20e490c4a693279734498f30bda.jpg&key=332708c182bf89373c8aa8934fbf15073f9dade6fb6967cc57888bb9451763fa9c429cd7084c18eb3796a871af98b238.jpg&key=961b201f9eec578163d78e8249ef274973bb302d9788054ce3f4025be05014530e455bb9f72dbece3ff07f70a945b5b2.jpg&key=096bcb0105dc9b1a8892c05dc058e103ce6e3af4984de307d55d734bf979f766Can anyone tell me what it is? Top piece in the top photo is cherry (American). Bottom photo is black walnut. Both boards are through-and-through sliced for max yield rather than max quality, and appear to be air-dried rather than kiln-dried, which can cause problems later on.

Put the boards in your basement with lots of airflow between them for a year or so, where they will become acclimated to their new home, and then build and enjoy. PM me if you want more details.
