I've posted this before but I saw a true giant still carrying at the end of April a few years ago. He ran across Genesee St near where it runs in to Walden. Second biggest buck I've ever seen in person

Saw a nice buck last night he was still wearing his head gear down here in Westchester.....

A few of the bucks in my neck of the woods are still carrying antlers into March. Most have shed. This 8 pt. is going to be a good one for southern Allegany County...if he ever drops them. Hope he is still around come November!

The latest that I've seen a buck holding onto his antlers was April 12th and he was a really decent 10 pointer.

We had a 7 year old carry one side through late April last year, I found his shed on April 30th within a couple days of him dropping it. I'm still getting plenty of pics with headgear.
