growalot
Stopped on way back from Dr....60% off on a lot of stuff picked up some detergent(for non brighteners) 2 packs of thunderhead replacements 100gr, a scull cap, and a scrape drip and fluid... but I wish I had time to Christmas shop...over heard them talking and it won't be long...manager said it's all up to liquidators ...if she had her way she'd talk them into letting the summer staff loose on the rest of stuff as a bonus...selling fixtures too way too much I thought... dbHunterNY
naaa.... it's no secret now that's for sure. I went to the one south of here (Kingston) because i was down that way. it was picked over pretty hard. a lot was 60% and others discounted off clearance for even better. i tried looking for a ton of christmas stuff but it was too picked over to do too much damage for others. Got multiple Gander brand shorts and shirts equivalent to the Columbia PFG stuff nice Irish setter rubber boots boat shoes for the wife (her sperry ones were still expensive) and i (under armour) athletic socks RCBS reloading stuff Ozone Go for the truck ($20) fishing lures ...i know there was other stuff but i forget what.

dbHunterNY
29 minutes ago, ny hunter said: I thought gander was bought and was gonna stay open.... the kingston store isn't going away and will still be a Gander supposedly. however, all inventory is being sold off that can be and the store still closing temporarily. that's what i was told by staff, whether that's right or not.
dbHunterNY
....my previous list add a couple 54"x90" Realtree AP camo table cloths. i use them when involved in various deer related stuff putting on many educational events and setting up booths. i'm telling ya those things are expensive normally and hard to find! just over $20 each was what i paid. Fletch
I dropped a couple bills there last week with my son. Got him bunch of athletic shorts he likes for like 12 bucks. I got a sweet Under Armor base layer for 20, all the unscented soap they had for like 2 a bar. Some other odds and ends.

Otto
I was at the Cicero store this afternoon. Not much that I needed, bought some handgun ammo with the 30% discount, it brought it into a decent price. The shotgun ammo was still way too high to be any sort of bargain. Lots of items not marked with a price either so I had no idea if it was a deal or not. Most of the ice fishing stuff was 60% off, but I have way more than I need already. If someone was just starting out, it would be a good deal for them. Lots of odd ball items that I think the liquidator brought in to sell, like automotive stuff and decor items that Gander didn't normally carry. Don't need to go back for anything. I would have bought n extra Treestand or pop up blind, but there were none there. Hopefully it reopens, if not Bass Pro is not too far, Runnings close also. Amazon is becoming more and more my go to, but I like to actually see some items before I buy them.
