Adkhunter1590
I've got two smaller bucks that I've been watching all summer. They were running together but split apart around mid July. But they show up on the same cams within 30 mins or so of each other every day just about. The one must of shed his velvet sometime during September 4th as he was on cam the 3rd full velvet and then early morning on the 5th hard horn. The other buck was still sporting full velvet up to the 9th, I checked cam the 10th. Hard horn 6 point. Full velvet 5 point

WNYBuckHunter
They are all pretty much hard horned around my area now. I have a couple of trailcam pics from a couple of weeks ago with them after shedding. I expect when I pull the cards this weekend, that they will all be hard horned.
dbHunterNY
yea once into the second week of Sept it's pretty common here. i'll wait a bit now to check trail cams. let them shuffle around a little and then settle. probably make it a point to check them few days before season opener.

Adkhunter1590
Checked my one cam under the apple trees close to my house this morning real quick. This is where I get pics of the hard horned 6 and velvet 5 pointer. Since I last checked it Sunday, I got 714 pics!! Crazy amount of deer traveling through here. The hard horn 6 is still around but the 5 point didn't stop by the last 3 days.
