It's only 730 and I haven't heard any birds or shots. I forgot my stool so I am sitting against a tree behind a big log . I expected to at least see some deer through the trees but no luck . A few minutes ago I was using the box call and a fox crossed the ditch and headed my way until it caught my scent and took off . Too quiet !

I’ll send over all these squirrels, chipmunks and woodpeckers. I’m looking out my ears every time something scurries through the leaves. I maybe permanently cross eyed by days end.

Sounds like my hunt yesterday, except my big animal experience was a raccoon vs. fox.  lol  Still way better than sitting in my office like I am now.

Yep, Id love to not be sitting in my office. Today would be the perfect day to sit in the woods all morning, go home, grab the boat and go fishing in the afternoon while sunning my pasty white NY winter complexion.
