Wow, just watching that tires me out.  I like the way that he skips over the ones with knots in them, that do not split easy with the first blow.

he still did the work no doubt but not as impressive as the video wants it to be. video is sped up. can tell by his foot movements. also i'm sure he took a break every time the camera footage cut to another scene.  would've been just as fast and safer with two hands on one splitting maul. it's not oak or maple, but something like ash that practically falls apart when struck. again not trying to take away from the job done.
