European mount

Guy called this afternoon  said my  gun buck was done .

Thanks for the likes . Came out nice. Wife said I can even hang it in the family room . She is not a fan of European mounts  bit she likes this one .

That came out great. I want to try a dip myself when I get a buck to do.  Love the snow camo.

Thanks Rob. Guy I take it to does the beetle cleaning then he sends  it to a guy in Auburn  to do the dip. Surprisingly he said he did 20 or so less bucks than last year. He still takes in a ton of animals.

Very nice, I like European mounts alot. You didn’t by any chance take it to bare bones and bugs in bigflats did you ?

I had my 2010 archery buck euro done by him also, he sent mine to tarjac in Waterloo to be dipped. I like the snow camo on them, great minds think alike

I like the snow pattern on yours but it's not available  anymore.  There was 2 more snow patterns but I liked this one  best . I opted for a gloss finish also. Lol great minds..

That's how you know it was a good one. My Golden is my test if my taxidermy is on point. If he doesn't try to slowly stalk it after I bring it inside and approach slowly then run away and repeat till he gets close then I know it was a shit job. Thankfully everything so far has been on point. It really is hysterical to watch him react to it when I bring in a new piece. Then after a while he just ignores it

She smelled  it first and she barked wind tracked it to the wall then all hell broke loose.   Wife says the walnut showing through the eye sockets makes it creepy .
