Steuben Jerry
Must be a roamer. This is the only pic I have of him out of a dozen cams soaking since May. Not a clear photo, but it almost looks like it’s growing out from behind the base of his ear. Injury? Cull? LET EM GROW
I think there are quite a few bucks like this around. not sure if its an injury, genetic or busted during velvet. Seen quite a few with a single big spike and a nice opposite side. my property as well as others around the region. Personally, I dont think any deer should be considered a cull, unless sick. If one believes its a cull, i think bucks age should be the first question in deciding.. nothing less than 3yr IMO. QDMA had an article about this.. I say tag him if hes worthy in your book, otherwise let a youngster get him or give him another year. .. but thats me lol

Still has three-ish weeks to gain a little more mass. I won't be shooting him as I'm interested in a couple of big boys that I've seen in person while brush hogging. I've seen one of them several times but he has eluded a dozen trail cams so far. Although I still have a few cards to go through. Sheesh, letting the cams soak for so long gives me a tedious job going through the cards. One card has 13,000 + pics, but there was a vine that grew in front of it. Smallest card had 900 photos.

I know the feeling 2k plus photos a week on single cams.. sucks

I know velvet makes them look larger, but that right side looks like a good sized 4 point antler . I would have a hard time passing him if he gave me a shot .. unique deer no doubt.
