The wait is almost over

Waiting to get 1st hard horn on camera, saw some rubs on sumac behind neighbors house.. At least one has to be stripped of velvet already.. should have some hard horn pics by end of the week I'm sure....

I saw Four Bucks together feeding... All had Velvet still on.... But.... It looked like it was ready to come off.... so no more growing that's for sure!

I got pics of a bachelor herd this morning. They all were still in velvet. Upon downloading the video, I noticed 2 of them circling each other, with their ears tucked back. Maybe the first ones will be shedding by the weekend.

Saw 2 very big bucks on the SawMill parkway last weekend still in velvet......
