Yeah that's what I'm noticing, not many bows have a big range from draw and weigh, most are so narrowly focused. 

Also I think let off is important as well, Hoyt doesn't even tell you let off on line and some of these bows are so darn expensive.

Well and took a serious look at the diamond but in the end decided to stick with the Hoyt tradition. He should be super excited Xmas morning!!

It’s warm enough he could go out and shoot today..

Look into mission by Mathews the whole like is pretty adjustable and great quality bows. Could last him a lifetime

What kind of adjustment did Hoyt build into that bow?

My daughter shoots a Hoyt ignite I think it’s called. You can adjust the poundage and DL as they grow . It’s a great beginner bow, well done Santa

Draw goes to 29 I believe and the weight goes from 15 to 70.
