Well two days to go before the ol smoke pole comes to the woods then there will be blood seen one spike this morning and about 12 mommas and babys going to get some work done then this pm back in the chase not holding much hope but going to go though the motions and see if any thing shotable comes past one thing for sure tuesday am large and brown is going down going to do my own thinning of the herd heheheh

Heard some grunting and movement a few mins ago. Got turned and binos up in time to see the big 8 skirt the bedding area in some thick thick brush. Tried a grunt, no luck. Hopefully he comes back through.

Had the best day of the season. I had deer every hour...all does. I thought it was me. Glad i didn't have a doe tag. It built me up a little.

Congrats to everyone that connected this year, and good luck to those that hit the late season. Today was my last day due to obligations tomorrow and we didn't see or hear anything all day long. Tag soup again this year! The wind was really howling again, wind chill read at around 10°F.

Loved my time in the woods and I'll be out after small game in the coming weeks.
