Rattler
The anti-gun leftists in NY state are really pushing anti-gun lunacy to it's limits. Imagine every round of ammo you have requiring a serial number and registration or you go to jail. https://legiscan.com/NY/text/A03779/id/1883223
Rattler
And add a new tax of .005 cents PER ROUND to pay for it too. Anyone think that will be a permanent price?
airedale
And the band plays on with this never ending parade of foolishness that accomplishes zero other than to make things tougher and more expensive for law abiding firearm owners. turkeyfeathers
I’d like to see them stamp serial numbers on a .22 short

Complete pipe dream Expand Still one has to be concerned any elected official would even propose such a bill. Knowing no ammo maker would comply with such a law, this would eliminate all ammo for all guns affected by this law, virtually eliminating all legal use of those firearms in NY state. You have to wonder if these proposals are designed to normalize crazy gun laws so they become more acceptable to the masses. This is serialized ammo that is registered to the buyer. I've never seen such an extreme proposal before On 3/7/2020 at 12:29 PM, turkeyfeathers said: I’d like to see them stamp serial numbers on a .22 short Expand Obviously no one would, but it would be illegal to have any that didn't have it. Should I sign out because I'm at the 5 sentence limit now? 2
Deleted Account
Looks pretty stupid, but I doubt it will go or has went anywhere.
Rattler
People thought the same thing about the SAFE Act when it was first proposed. Then they thought they would get to discuss it prior to a legislative vote. Nothing is beyond possibility in this tyrannical state.
grampy
I've been saying for years, that the left will continue to pick away, poke, prod, and chisel at our 2nd amendment rights, until it is "illegal" for the law abiding citizen to have anything to do with a firearm.
