2 weeks vacation.When would you take it?

I have saved all my vacation days for this hunting season.2 weeks.

When would you take them?

I am thinking of taking one the opening week of gun.

but the hardest decision is when in archery season.

1st week or second week in November?

Also thinking of taking off last half the first week and first half of the second week in novermber.

I am never good at making up my mind.LOL.

Nov. 4-11 for archery season. That's when I'd take the first week. Make sure to get a good part of the chase period in there.

After thinking about that, maybe Nov. 7-14. That might get you a little into the breeding period. However, once a buck had "bedded" with a doe, hunting gets slow - real fast.

I would take it later. The full moon is the 10th of Nov. and when it starts to wane...like around the 13th...on things should be popping. JMHO. I hate hunting at dusk with that bright almost full moon beaming down. I think it holds up the deer from moving because it is so bright.

take it the 9th thru your 2 weeks that way you can get a few days to gun hunt if your in the southern zone.

in deer and deerhunting they Charlie say s the 9th---18th are the 9 days to be in the woods looks and sounds about right based on the action so far. good luck any time in SWEET NOVEMBER is good

i normally take the first two weeks in november but this year will be the second and third week still should be good hunting

So the maybe wednesday the 9th through the wednesday the 23rd.

Humm, this is a tough one. I always take a week off for the opening of rifle season tho.

I'll be hunting everyday from November 19th through December 4th. Worked like a dog all year to pull this off and can't wait!

Next week I'll get to bow hunt for the first couple hours every morning now that the clocks are going to get set back. That is if I can drag my old tired bones out of bed in the morning. LOL

Id take the opening week of gun (which is only 3 days vaca due to Thanksgiving), then Id take either next week (week of Halloween) or the week after that. I would take the last 2 days and get a couple of days in the late season.

At 3:30 today...I'm off until November 15.

For gun...I don't get Black Friday off so I take that day off to give me a 4 fay weekend (of sorts) to hunt. Outside of that day, I don't take a day off for regular gun season.

Then off Dec. 16-20 for mz.
