Vacation... well from regular job..

Have 2 weeks vacation, time to finish small pond I built last year, maybe another small  pond and grade out some logging roads,  get a few fall plots worked up.and planted.  Foresters marked trees today so I dont have to do one section of roads  as they will regrade when done logging,  may rebuild a few blinds with the extra time saved.

what foresters did you use for the marking? Are they doing the sales administration?

Future forestry.  Yes take care of everything,  this is part of a 480a program .

Most of the time , .....too damn hot today, starting outside work at 5 am and trying to be done by 11 am..   Got a few fall plots disked up today.......then took nap this field will be a mix of brassica , winter grain and clover.buckwheat for this one clover and a winter grain.

Done turnips for years as I like to eat them. As well purple top and appin.   Deer demolish them early here though after they got use to them

My neighbor plants them on set aside plots to combat compaction.  Plenty of deer have been killed over them in the late season especially.

Clutch. It is an 1985 , so new clutch pressure plate , throwout bearing, resurface flywheeel...  did a lot of work in it's time,  way more than a 12.5 hp tractor should ever have done.. its relegated to mowing trails and deer/ hunter retrevial last few years

Pretty straightforward deal so long as the flywheel doesn’t need to be replaced. Looks like a kubota, we have 3 of them and a rtv 900 diesel side by side. They’re good machines.

Parts came so Got clutch done on little kubota. 

Got the glass castle sided.

Bid went thru on small timber improvement sale,hope to get last of food plots planted this weekend, Time to start hanging stands!

Since I Got clutch in little kubota put homemade.carry all on it  and , resided what we call the lower box blind that really needed it as the old siding was falling off and shredded.

started hanging more sets for deer season got 2 up and only 4 more to go ... season is getting close
