Also what are some good broadheads fixed and mechanical to try pulling 50#s

If your shooting 50# I would recommend fixed.  Better penetration without a lot of power to open mechanicals.   Muzzy 3 blade is a proven winner for a fixed.

i picked these up

but they feel so small to me. got a better recommendation i have not been out bow hunting in 12 years

I always shot the Montec G5 before I went to mechanicals, but i draw 70.

I shoot that same brand on my xbow and they have worked great.  Every deer I have shot haven't gone over 50 yards

I have shot 3 of my last 4 deer with a 75gr. muzzy similar to this one. Just resharpen and use again.

You shoikd definitely stay away from mechanicals with that Draw weight. 

I shot both muzzys and montecs and they performed similar. 

Magnus makes a good head as well.

Nap thunderheads are my go to heads...reliable and inexpensive.
