Versatile_Hunter
In the closing days of the Trump presidency, the improbable has happened. Republicans and Democrats have come together to move the country forward. Yesterday the president was impeached again, cementing his legacy as the worst president to ever occupy the office. It’s time for Trumpists across the nation to denounce Trump and his legacy and to look towards a future rooted in fact and evidence-based debate. No, there are no lizard people. No, there isn’t a cabal of socialist child predators. What we do have is climate change and the ensuing consequences of not addressing it. We have unprecedented unemployment and a decrepit national infrastructure. Let’s debate how best to handle these real monumental problems and leave behind the absurd conspiracy theories that do nothing but cast shame on you, your family, your party, and the nation as a whole. With the end of Trump, I hope that a reformed Republican Party emerges, ready to debate and tackle the central issues of the moment with a shared conception of the truth. Let’s join the number 3 house Republican and come together for a better America. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/12/liz-cheney-trump-impeachment-statement-458394 1 1
Grouse
Trump's legacy will be the President that most stood up to an out of control bureaucracy, corruption at the federal level and leftist politicians who sold America out, and was crucified by those people, because they were more sinister than anyone imagined.

You would think that she would've learned her lesson after the first failed impeachment, that cost American tax payers tens of millions of dollars and the loss of trust for certain three letter gov't agencies that were investigating a standing President on proven false evidence given to the FISA court. It's sad to think that while the country is going through a pandemic, the speaker of the house is focused on removing a president that will be out of office in less than six days. Lets Join the rest of the world in a silent prayer for America. Fixed it for you.

Instead , why don’t we unite in our support for the incoming administration in the war against COVID ? What purpose will impeachment serve at this point anyway EXCEPT to continue to inflame tensions and continue to divide us !

He may actually vote for it. https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-donald-trump-impeachments-capitol-siege-mitch-mcconnell-29ca8c7dff7943c3daf2952d4a809097
Shoots100
He never said he would approve it either. AP news also reported that Elvis was seen playing golf with OJ last week and that the sun will rise in the west. They also reported that there was a whole lot of repubs that would go along with the witch Pelosi, but it's all talk and made up, like all things coming from the press these days. Grouse
McConnell just told the house he dismissed the Senate and they won't be returning until after inauguration day. So he isn't on board with an impeachment. Are the leftists going to impeach after Trump leaves office? Probably, but McConnell will likely not support that effort either. It would’ve taken unanimous consent to reconvene the senate to hold the trial. Your opinion about McConnell’s position doesn't matter. Even your bible, Fox News, is reporting McConnell’s anger and desire to convict Trump. I bet QAnon outlets are reporting this too. I guess they’ll want him to hang along with Pence. Nomad
Yes let’s come together ! First reduce the size of Gov. by one third. Second reduce regulations. Then cut taxes across the board .
Grouse
The wrong party took power for any of that to happen. All of that will be getting worse. How does that bring us together?
Versatile_Hunter
We can't debate taxes/regulation/climate change etc. if one side is catering to an electorate that believes in lizard people and cannibal cabals. A bipartisan repudiation of Trump would free the Republicans from the imbeciles, allowing a path back to reason and fact base discourse. I know, we've got a ways to go but this is an aspirational first step.

Exaggerating much maybe? lol And what do some of the biggest loonies on the left believe I wonder?? This is the problem: Use hyperbole, overgeneralize and portray those you disagree as evil and/or stupid. This coming from the party of love and tolerance ?? Allow me to borrow a quote from the great uniter , President-Elect Biden: " Come on Man!!"

I expect no less from a slave that's only regurgitating what their master has told them to say. Reason and Fact based Discourse ? You would need an open mind to discuss them and you've proven that's way above your pay grade. Maybe one of your Marxist Czars, or AOC would do a better job, but I doubt it, as their too busy depositing donations into their bank accounts, while your hiding in fear from Covid and climate change.
