phade
Fruit trees are usually the early scrapes I see too. Not much longer.
grampy
Though our apple trees are devoid of apples this year, this is where our first scrape will no doubt be found. Same place every year.

Same place every year. we're loaded with apples this year. they'll be wiped out by mid Oct. Acorns seem like they were good this year too in our area. That might make Oct a tough hunt.
G-Man
Late frost / snow wiped out most apples and nuts here this year ,where there are pockets it should be very hot area, foodplots will be more important this year later season for sure. My trees have never carried the fruit they are holding this year. My yard is also full of hickory nuts which also is a strong crop at my place this year. The last two weeks we have had deer in the yard all day along with turkeys to now it’s a very good year for soft mast in my area

I've found that in years with local mast production low, it makes predicting where the deer will be, somewhat more predictable. Just find the small area, or tree, that IS producing.
SpacemanSpiff
Just found this a mile away. Two trees side by side got some action.
