Daveboone
Not at all. The few bucks difference for the price of going to my camp/hunting rounds will not stop me. Prices around here are already starting to drop, possibly by fall they could be back to normal or close. Besides the Ukraine issue with Russia, now that Covid is almost a has-been, folks will be getting back into thier normal travel and vacation routines which will drive up prices over the summer anyway....the lack of travel over the past two years was the biggest reason for gas prices falling anyway. phade
There really are three ways to impact this. Make more money. Reduce expenses. Change habits. Most people go to option three. Option 3 was a big cost increase last year due to hunting three states. So I focused on options 1 and 2. Pay increase and reduced operating expenses. Having an "outwork my problem to hit a goal" mindset seems to help.

rachunter
It's not going to effect me.I plan on doing a lot of exploring this year now that time isn't an issue for me.
ApexerER
I'm a lot more worried about filling the boat than hunting. That 108 gallon tank is going to hurt. Makes me sick thinking it might cost more than $500 to fill it....
Farflung
Deer hunting won't be affected, as most of mine is right out my door. Turkey will hurt since I do a lot of scouting and hunt some remote locations, but I guess I will just "grin and bear it". So for turkey, about 1000 miles scouting and hunting or 50 gallons of gas. If it costs a additional $2 per gallon, thats $100. Guess I will have to live with it.
