REDNECK FISHERMAN A redneck was stopped by a game warden in Central Mississippi recently with two ice chests full of fish. He was leavin' a cove well-known for its fishing. The redneck poured the fish into the lake and stood and waited. After several minutes, the warden says, "Well?" "Well, what?," says the redneck. The warden says, "When are you going to call them back?" "Call who back?" "The FISH," replied the warden! "What fish?," replied the redneck. ............ Moral of the story: We may not be as smart as some city slickers, but we ain't as dumb as some government employees.

Dont assume that everyone on this sight is a pro gun hunter type. Anyone can sign up and post all they want. Im sure there are more than a few tree hugging anti gun libs on this sight who pretend (lie as they will) just to get their point out. The Nuge kicks ass. He's loud, offensive, and in your face. The left has plenty of wackos a lot more crazy than uncle Ted, but it's acceptable for them, they're 'misunderstood'. People love to hate him, because they fear him. They fear the fact that he is not ashamed of what he is or what he represents. They fear the fact that he is PROUD to be an American gun owner and an American hunter. As a group we have been taught to always be on the silent defense, and to keep our guns / dead animals, out of sight so that we don't offend anyone. Screw that! We have nothing to apologize for, and nothing to be ashamed of! Props to Ted for grabbing his balls, speaking up, and telling it how it is. Some of us here seem to be of the mindset that we should be a silent group, afraid to speak up for ourselves, & making efforts to placate people who we shouldn't give a **** about. Does PETA make apologies for the crazy sh*t they do? What about the idiots at the UN with their 'Small arms treaty', are they sorry for offending anyone? Hillary? Feinstein? Sotomayor? ANY OF THEM? DO ANY OF THEM GIVE A DAMN HOW YOU FEEL? DO ANY OF THEM APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR RADICAL STANCES? HELL NO!! I hope Ted keeps pissing in people's wheaties for years to come.

The ones that want to dis someone for having a sac and telling it like it is are the same ones that would rather get ran over by the ones that fight us all. Ted says things his way but either way he says it for us all!!!

I'm definitely not a fan of Ted Nugent ..................BUT ................... I really do wish I could defend the 2nd amendment half as well as he did in that interview. I wish I could instantly quote the stats as quickly as he did. I also like the fact that he did not allow Morgan to speak over him as is so often the technique of the anti-gun crowd. Apparently there was some language that may not have been appropriate or necessary, but in general I believe he stated our case very well and this time it was done in a fashion that might open a few eyes about what gunowners have been saying. I would say that he picked up a lot of stock in my mind with this interview and basically put Morgan in his place.

Common sense tells me that there are no statistics that back up the statement that crossbows are more dangerous than compounds... and you also can not do things with a xbow that you can with a bow.. lets all be very clear about where the real argument against crossbows is... it is simply that some bowhunters ( roughly 2000 of the 200,000 in NY) feel threatened that somehow the crossbow hunter is going to ruin bowhunting season by being in the woods at the same time as they are and might kill a deer or two... it has nothing to do with safety, or any of the other nonsense that the anti crossbow people have come up with to fight their battle... everyone knows it... so why do we continue to blow smoke up each others rearends?

They do not have to shoot well. Everyone carries a gun, so everyone else knows to leave them alone. I think the alamo was lost due to a severe out number thing. Plus they do not have a basement from what I hear.

Doe, i did a little searching and found only 2 things that could be constrewed as racist, and one of them was later found to be 3 sentences, taken out of context and put together to make something racist out of it. The 3 sentences werent even said within 2 minutes of each other at a concert. The second would be comments about illegal aliens. It sounded like he was speaking of all illegals, not once race in particular. Id like to see what youre referring to, because i couldnt find anything that sounded like that.

Seems to me some guys dislike Ted because he challenges Obama and other Leftist anti-gun types, who think they can tell us what type of firearm, what type of bullets, where, when and how we can own a firearm. Seems to me that is because, although they claim to be pro-gun, they really align themselves with the desire to dictate to gun owners what they feel gun owners should be allowed to own. Ted will have none of that nonsense, so they feel he is too extreme. The desire to placate the masses and be respectable in their eyes is what motivates their hatred of Ted. I'd say they are not 100% pro-gun, but more like pro-gun lite! I would like someone here to show me any shread of evidence that Ted ever did or said anything that would brand him a racist too! Oh, and by the way, being on the board of the NRA is not a paid position, it is voluntary.

Its nice to see you guys will turn a blind eye to anything some one says as long as once in a while they say something you agree with. Lets not forget good ole uncle Ted is on the NRA payroll, he is doing the job he was hired to do. Doc, hunting suburban areas isnt about voyurism, your suggestion of such is pretty ridiculous, IMO. I hunt some suburban areas where you dont see any houses, cars or anything like that. I also hunt some areas where you can see houses, and while they are definitely different hunting situations than the larger tracts of land i hunt, it has nothing to do with even being the least bit interested in what the neighbors are doing. It has to do with hunting productive areas.

I would rather Ted be defending my 2nd Amendment right than at least 3 of you guys on this thread... and I'm not a huge fan of Nugent... but right is right and... he is right. Just wonder too for all of you that are so concerned that a persons background has anything to do with how well they can perform a given task like defending our 2nd amendment right... if you were faced with a situation where there was only one surgeon that could save your childs life... would you really care if he cheated on his wife???

Why would it belong in rifle season? Ballistically, it has no advantage over a vertical bow. It shoots a fletched arrow, powered by limbs and a string and kills with a broadhead. Just because it is held by a stock does not make it a gun. Anyone that says it is, is being ignorant.
