I like having few cams out all year. In this case I have a few cams i put up at my friends cottage on Lake Ontario for security purposes. This cam got a pic of a fox with a pheasant in its mouth {pretty sure the pheasant was a stocked bird from the adjacent state park that has stocked pheasant hunts[ Having an extra set of eyes is cool to see when you least expect it.

25 degrees and wind gusts to 20 mph. I decided to go to my new stand and sit the last hour or so today. What happened was picture perfect. Doe and two fawns come in from bedding area walk a smal ridge to my left and come right to food plot. I actually thought it was the triplets minus the Mom. It wasn't it was a 1.5 year old Doe with two fawns, one was a button buck. At the end of the video I say I think that is the Mom up front. We shot 9 deer so far this season split between 4 families. I'll be hard pressed to pull the trigger unless its a ginat buck or one of those weird rack bucks we have running around. Just nice being out there late season and see a few come in.

A nice thing about the cameras is that you see some of the survivors .

I use Blink for security around the house , but you have to have WIFI ! Just Sayin !

Yesterday's sit reminded me of the 1990's with cold and windy weather. This cold weather sure brings the deer into food sources, for sure. I now know my main shooter is antlerless. Plenty of others to fill the bill though.

Yeah, now that all is well in the world with the Donald back at the helm, politics has taken a back seat in the world of conversation. Too bad, it has been an exciting time in politics with old sleepy Joe stumbling around and crazy, giggling Kamala campaigning like a blithering idiot. Oh well, now we can see how a real President functions. I like the start to Trump's term even though he is not even sworn in yet.

A deer convention this afternoon. Shortly after taking the picture, a buck came in and broke it up.

I use the wifi trail cams you can get on amazon, and mount high using step ladder. You can then download the pics or vids to the app on cell phone and not have to climb ladder to check sd card. And no monthly fee involved. Also you can adjust camera settings thru the app, as long as your within 45 ft of cam.

Gun laws are not really for stopping gun crimes. They are intended to harass gun owners and encourage us to give up our firearms. No one has any data that can say that any of the laws has discouraged gun crime. The fact is that the more laws and harassments they throw at us the more gun crimes increase. The only way to get the government off our backs is through the vote. We have the power if we ever choose to use it. We did a damn good job of shutting down any new federal gun legislation, now we have to get that sort of thing happening here in this communist state. But it takes dedication to our gun rights. It takes not only our ow votes, but activism to get others out to vote, and to vote correctly. The hunting community may be shrinking significantly, but the numbers of gun owners is growing. We should not be getting over-run by the anti-gun pinkos.
