Found this real quick: http://www.ammoland.com/2010/12/freak-deer-201-non-typical-from-long-island-ny/#axzz2i5DtfrLn

Yup, that's him. And yes I think I can squeeze him in there somewhere. Thanks.
-
Good, I didn't feel like digging out the other computer with the pics on it.
-
Not sure, prob more than you think. I have paper pics but the original digital are on my other computer. I'll post a couple tomorrow.
-
You don't really think I'm BSing do you?
-
You know I was going to ask you if you wanted to hunt my stand near that buck, but you're moving. Oh well!
-
Aah, a typo. Had me thinking there. And yes, first put him on the ground, exactly what I was thinking.
-
Biz, I have pics somewhere. I'll post one when I find them. Sam, how do you do a DNA test? And what are bug NT's? This guy is about 200 yards away from where I got his dad. That one side is just like his. Hopefully soon I can put them side by side but I'm sure it wont be easy. Lots of other hunters in the area.

His dad is my avatar pic. 200" class deer I got in 2010
-
I knew you would like that Geno. His right side looks just like the one I got, just smaller. I don't think I could let him pass, but would love to see what he would turn into.
-
Finally got a pic of a good buck and it's definitely the offspring of the big one I got a few years ago. I was hoping he spread his genes!
-
There is still one here on long island, it's in lake grove. Maybe call them or menu??
-
Cmon guys. That's like saying a deer and a cow are the same because they both eat grass and have hooves. But anyway, call them what you want. They are horrible. I still have itchy bites on my ankles and arm from a week ago!
-
I hear this all the time. They are NOT chiggers. They are nymph stage ticks. Me and my kids get them all the time.
-
Sure looks like the one in the pic. I've seen hundreds of garter snakes over the years but never one that color.
-
Horrible quality. Was that on long island?
-
Haven't seen one on long island since I was a kid but I think it's a hognose.

Can any one age this buck and would you shoot him
pistolp71 replied to apoallo's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I'm going to assume you are talking about me. I am not a advocate of being a "trigger slut". I am a advocate of someone shooting whatever they want, legally. If that's what the guy wants to shoot and makes him happy, then good for him. How I hunt and what I shoot should have no bearing on anyone else. People shouldn't be looked down upon for shooting whatever legal buck they feel like. Or should he not shoot it just to make YOU happy? -

He's a younger deer, but if you get a chance, and you feel like shooting him, then who cares what anybody else thinks or would do. -
Yes, Bigbuckoutfitters. His name is Brian Beisher, in Wyoming. I went a few years ago and got a nice one. Great place, he also does deer. Also bluerockoutfitters in Montana, his name is mike zmek, another great place. I go to him every year for praire dogs.

Interesting observation about bucks when shedding velvet
pistolp71 replied to phade's topic in Deer Hunting
Very cool. You don't see that everyday that's for sure.
