LMAO! Now that's funny! -
You got that right. I believe the recidivism rate is up around 87% right now. Not on that guy. Doesn't happen often enough though.

Great buck! I don't think he'll net anywhere near his gross. Long Island does it again.

He's every bit of 170, but who cares what the number is. That is a beautiful buck.

Wow, you are good. You can tell that from a pic of half the rack. You missed your calling, lol.

Here is where our taxes go for Education

No, I don't. All I know is they take half of the first years savings as payment. They take care of everything. It usually goes to court. -

Me too Geno, I used Mark Lewis. I'm in the process of grieving my taxes for the second time in 5 yrs. First time they went down about $1800. -
I'm going to say about $350. .

Makes sense to me. I would never defend the dead wood. There are people on my job that make the same salary and do next to nothing. I'd like to stay and chat, but I have to go spend some of my wifes teacher salary. Thanks to Woofer paying her salary of course. -

Like a lot of things, this teacher "bashing" is usually driven by jealousy. Yes, it's a good job that pays well, with a lot of days off. It is also available to anyone that wants to go to college for a bunch of years for it. -

Woofer, the "long island lotto" saying is actually pretty funny. Never heard that before. Even Long Island cops risk their lives on a daily basis. I'll just chalk up what you said to the fact that you didn't think before you typed. -

Good guess. But that doesn't change the facts. -

I don't know how this turned into a teacher bashing thread. But, the people who have a problem with teachers salaries, wouldn't have a problem with it if they were married to one. And to say that cops don't risk their lives for anyone is just ignorant. Have you noticed how many cops have got shot lately? -

My thoughts exactly. I wanted to reach through my computer screen. What a POS! -
Rainier Lead safe bullets

Yes, 1000 rounds. Check out http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/. Their prices usually beat Midway. And their shipping prices are the actual rate. Midway shipping is a bit inflated. -

I use them for my .45 ACP and 9mm plinking rounds. Pretty nice bullet for the money. I buy them in bulk. -
And what exactly is so wrong about being " pro white"?

Grouse, Yes I'm aware it's of a copy of that design but I don't believe the internal parts are identically made. I has been my experience and that of many of my coworkers that Kel tec is very very poor quality. Not something I'll have my life depend on that's for sure. I would hardly consider those sights. merely a groove cut out of the top of the slide. They don't have to be "target" sights, just real, clear, sights. If an attacker is on top of you, you may not have the option. But I wouldn't purposely put the weapon directly on the person, especially not his gut, unless you are trying to wound him and get shot yourself. Space is your friend. Every one of those 4 weapons listed are Double Action. 3 being DOA and one D/S. I agree, the size of the weapon, and the ability to conceal it and carry it whatever you are wearing is the most important. All I'm saying is there are weapons in the same category that are better than others. Usually a few bucks more, but you usually get what you pay for.

I think Kel Tecs are garbage, unless that have gotten much better over the years. Usually, you get what you pay for. Yes, these pocket pistols are designed for concealed carry, but that doesn't mean you don't need any sights. Not all gun fights are from 2 feet. And you certainly don't want to put the muzzle of your weapon directly on someone, especially not in the gut, or in arms length for that matter. They are all double action, but some have better sights than others. Only makes sense to me to buy one that can be shot more accurately should the need arise.

I started out with the Ruger LCP as my summer off duty. It wasn't a bad gun for the money. When the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard came out, I bought one and sold the LCP. I didn't like the sights on the LCP or the fact that it didn't stay open on the last shot. The Bodyguard has much better sights, shoots much more accurately and has the integrated laser. The size is the same just a tad heavier.
