Yup .58 caliber. Here's a few pics. How many grains of pyrodex? What grain bullet? When do you think it was made? It's nothing real fancy but I like it.

Sorry Bubba, I don't know much about the gun. The model is a Huntsman. I'll have to research the twist or run a rod down it myself. Ignition brand? Don't know what you mean. I has a nipple on it for a cap. Not a 209. I could post a pic of it if that helps.

I won a .58 caliber H&R muzzleloader a couple of weeks ago. I hunt with rifle,pistol,bow,shotgun but never tried muzzleloaders. Now that I have one I figured I would give it a shot. Anyone have any recommendations for me. Powder, load, bullets, caps, even cleaning. Thanks.

No, Usually when I get there at 10am when it opens, we are the only ones there. If it's a Saturday morning, I'm in.

I've shot there many times. Not air conditioned. But an awesome place to shoot.

My wife already had the Kitchen Aid mixer so I just bought the grinder attachment for it for like $30. It works great. If you have the mixer, that's the way to go.

I hunt waterfowl out there every year. I asked about about the deer hunting and was told you have to be a east hampton resident. I'll be out there camping in a couple of weeks, I'll ask again.

A little too much suffering for me. A 22-250 does a much better job.

.22 LR is just fine for coons. When I coon hunted with dogs we used a .22 w/stingers. Of course head shots are the quickest.

Thanks. Eastern had a cape that was close to his so I decided to use them. He also had it done for me in 3 weeks, which was awesome.

OK, here's the mount. I'm real happy with it. Eastern Taxidermy mounted it and I did the wall habitat myself.

I had one last year. Trigger was a normal double action trigger. I didn't like the sights or the fact that it doesn't stay open on the last shot. I sold it and bought the S&W Bodyguard .380. Same size, better sights, better made and the only gun with the integraded laser. I love it. Those lasers aren't designed to see in daylight outdoors.

I don't know either way. But, from experience will say that people naturally WANT to believe it's fake or it was taken this way or that. The root is jealousy. Anything positive people are skeptical, anything negative they believe it in a second.

I put the website on my first post. That tells you everything and can see the pics. I bought 16 rounds right off the bat and that brought the price down to 9 bucks a round. Let me know when everyone wants to meet down there. It's 5 minutes from my house.
