  1. I've even stopped eating chinese food just to be on the safe side.
  2. I have always wanted to hunt hog. As bad as they are once they are established, oh man that would be great. Well not really. I guess since I'm not a farmer I can say stupid things. i just get excited about an animal that can be hunted 24/7/365 and taken in any number. Gets me going like a fat kid on cake. Texas? Helicopter? Full auto? 24/7/365/unlimited? Sounds like more fun than a tornado can have in a trailer park.
  3. I saw 6 doe total. No shot at any. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Up early having coffee for the last time till striper season. 38 degrees west wind 5-7 mph. Going to the spot where I took my doe last week. Hope to have a repeat kinda day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I walked outside on the front steps to check the weather....they are mocking me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Anyway...sat till 930. When the rain came I went lol. I will try again tomorrow (thanks baby) but sadly that will be all she wrote. I hear a heavy set chic warming her vocal cords. I did see 6 doe...too bad they were running away when I was walking out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I’m up for what will be my last day of this season. Not sure if I should post here or 2020 thread lol. Hope to get something before the rain sets in. Gonna sit at the edge of a plateau overlooking a busy travel route. Can’t wait to set my stand here next season. #fromtheground Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Can you float a deer in one of these? I usually don't have to worry about too much water, just curious. I have heard how much these help for dragging. Def on my list for next season or perhaps a wheeled cart.
  9. Are you recommending we DON'T drag by the hind legs lol
  10. I use the outdoor edge. Great design. I used to use a drop point with 2 fingers. This was my "game changer" lol
  11. Just thinking about that tool makes my sphincter cringe. I couldn't imagine a more vicious or violent thing to do, even if the animal is dead. Same thing with eating the balls, can't do it.
  12. Was just looking at the pups pictured here. Chocolates are nice too. I want them all lol
  13. O wow I want one!! Black or gold?? Can't decide.
  14. Perhaps. I really didn't care about that because I have 3 tags left (1 doe, 1 either, 1 buck ) and only one weekend. Things will be different next year, especially if i start taking doe fawns lol. I will have dozens!
  15. If you can wait for the tag, you no longer have to go to Ridge. You still can of course, but you don't have to.
  16. They changed this law...you only have to email a photo of the doe/tag and you get replacement tag in the mail. You can still take her tagged head to Ridge to get it on the spot, of course. Def going fawn hunting!! Hope to get the opportunity Saturday.
  17. Congrats!! I heard the little ones are like veal. One day I gotta take one.
  18. I love the puppies...hate the training lol
  19. Saturday...80 degrees with a chance of snow
  20. Sooo cute. Really thinking I may end up w a lab.
  21. I don't split anything either, especially if im gonna do a cape mount! If it is a doe, or not a cape mount, I will cut where the neck meets the bottom of the chin and pull it out whole. I also use the disposable gloves that go up to the elbow. I usually manage to stay pretty clean.
