    oh and i own one and have shot lots a deer with it. Until now rifles are legal in chat county. I've got a smooth barrel for it too and make a good turkey gun too.

    check out the maverick 88. Its the exact same gun as the 500 but its made in mexico and has a different trigger guard other then that its identical. They are owned my mossberg also

    a .243 will kill a deer just fine never shot any of the guns you guys are refering to and the reason is.... there is no need to lol

    I'm looking to update my hunting wardrobe but not sure what to get. I don't really want to pay 300 bucks a piece for jacket and pants if i don't need to. Just wondering what you guys use or what you've been wanting. I'm looking for something to use early season (bow) into late season. I see a lot of ads for scent blocker and kinda like the Scent Blocker Bone Collector Mack Daddy set up but like I said I don't want to pay 300 a piece but I'd like to stay warm and dry too. Anyways what are you guys using?

    I hunt 9k and 9g in cottage and perrysburg. might try allegany park this year just to try it out. i hear there are a few more bears in that area.

    honestly its all I think about all year round. They day after muzzleloader i'm already pouting and depressed that i have to wait till next year. the misses is about fed up with it though. so i'm working on pretending not to think about it as much

    My dad felt it pretty good in Collins I was in the woods in Perrysburg and didn't feel anything. Both in the southern tier only seperated by about 5 miles or less. Weird how it travels

    No your right. Like I said I knew you couldn't bait for hunting I just didn't know you couldn't at all. I guess because I don't at all I never took the time to check the rules.

    gjs4 no pun intended right? haha. Not at all I know you can't bait during hunting season but is baiting all out illegal? And by baiting are you guys talking about salt licks?

    lol thats my problem I was barely able to go 3 days without checking it. had one doe on it and a dozen pictures of me walking away.

    I researched a lot when buying my stand and I couldn't find a better stand then the summit brands. They are the lightest and best built in my opinion. I want to make sure I got the best when I'm 25 ft off the ground.

    I personally just like having toys. What's more fun then opening up a new toy and getting it all configured and set up, and the more buttons and menus and attachments the better. Doesn't matter if its hunting tvs or whatever.

    took me as long as a where's waldo to find the raccoon. I'd have to agree its a coyote. But I think the chupacabra would be more likely then a mountain lion according to dec.

    I've been trying to get mine into hunting too. But I can't get her to shoot without closing her eyes.

    so for me i hunt in 9k and 9g which neither have ever required a prefrence point so it really does me know good for next year then? I've never not got my first choice so this is my first time with a point

    i don't get how the prefrence points work. Elmer you say you have two now. Well how come a guy with no points can get two tags but you still get denied your first even though you had a point?
