  1. I will drive you down there next season, if I can hunt with you
  2. This thread is amazing, just proves that I can not judge age by antlers or body size anymore..lol
  3. Is there a competition between you and GMan on hosting HNY members..lol
  4. Not necessary, not every one gets it even if exposed and living in the same house. Hopefully they get mild symptoms and recover fast.
  5. The sit has been uneventful so far, an occasional flutter or a distant squirrel so far. The last hour always gets me excited
  6. The solar panel is small and needs a lot of sun to keep it charged. But if you are only getting 30-50 a day the battery will last about 90 days.
  7. I truly am amazed at your generosity and hospitality. Man if I dont find anything in my usual stomping grounds by this weekend, I am going to just invite myself with my crossbow in your yard...lol
  8. My Grandfather was in Indian Army but sadly passed away when I was only 6yrs old. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Army_during_World_War_II I have no pics or stories to share History lost
  9. Congrats to all who punched their tags today. I sat out for the last 2 hrs but didnt even see a squirrel. The wind was swirly and snow coming down. Heading back out tomorrow
  10. As most of you know, I have been sidelined this season due to injury. Really hopeful that my hunt for the coming 2-3 sits will be fruitful with some fresh snow in the forecast. At this point I have all my tags but will settle for anything..lol Fingers crossed
  11. I didnt hit and it was not near where I live. More like 46 miles away..if it was me I would have gotten a carcass tag & taken the whole deer and even salvaged the meat
  12. Congrats !! Mind sharing the secret way how to prepare medallions of venison (without the pressure cooker) so it cuts without the need of a knife?
  13. It was not a scrape, just the edge of the road. Right behind it was a huge 30acre bean field. Stupid deer got hit when crossing the road. They dragged it back in the dirt.
  14. Hate posting this but it was hit in 8f yesterday by a truck
  15. Thanks, i tried even today but no luck Will be out wednesday evening again till the season ends
  16. Congrats, looks like some critter found it and started munching on it. Trim around it and rest of the meat will be fine and safe
