  1. Tending grunts, almost like clicking sound goes on forever or until they part ways.
  2. Wow that is quite a track job. I am on the other side of Honeoye lake near Lono Group.
  3. Good to know. Planning to take my 13yr old this weekend and want to be prepared. Know any good trackers for zip 14471?
  4. Looks awesome. Add insulation and a buddy heater to it and weather will no longer be a deterrent.
  5. This lately seems to be the new corporate mantra!! Acquire, drain, make a profit and move on.
  6. Love it. I cant even cut a straight edge to save my life. Would you be interested in making and selling these?
  7. Nice job. Curious to know what happens if tracking is requested after a heavy down pour?
  8. In 8N, still get 3 doe and 2 fawns like clockwork on camera but no bucks following them. Occasionally a spike will come thru with them..maybe in couple of days it will pickup in Bristol
  9. 8N just taking a hike is dangerous. Ticks every where.
  10. Congrats..nice tick toter. looks like a thru n thru texas heart shot with blood at both ends...lol
  11. Can you post a picture on how you have the rope and hooks on the string prior to cocking?
  12. Agreed, but its a possibility that it was just passing thru to be never seen again.
  13. The coming week is really nice and warm and deer movement died today. There is new buck with injury causing it to be still in velvet, maybe it crosses path with me by the time i can use the cranked crossbow.
  14. Depends on the location and deer herd size. Suburbia, deer get bumped/spooked all the time vs out in the ADK, hunt maybe over for the day
  15. No deer was ever lost due to backing out. Maybe meat loss to coyote/fox
  16. Make sure after you are done sighting in the scope that you shoot one arrow with the broadhead to make sure they are flying same. Usually one has to make a minor adjustment. Lastly shoot 20-25 arrows to break in the string like a regular bow. Good luck
  17. The playing of numbers by vendors sure makes it crazy https://www.centerpointarchery.com/product/amped-425-crossbow-with-power-draw
  18. Get a crank, thats what i opted for since my left arm is out of commission for another 6 weeks. I fully extended the stock and wedge it with my stomach and crank away. Ofcourse foot in the stirrup pushing down
