    Some one is either killing all the deer in area or target practicing. Every 3-5 minutes I hear a shot south of me from the same location

    I have seen up and down in the 8N region..had an awesome yr in 2018 but the last 3 seasons have been dismal. Regardless of area, if some one hunts hard enough they will get a deer. Not P&Y or B&C but enough to fill their freezers.

    Came close to pulling the trigger on a button buck but just couldnt connect or stop it. Anyways was fun finally seeing a deer out in the nature.

    I dont have the permission from the parents so I am hiding the face but for a first deer this kid who is 16 ; forever has the bar raised too high.

    Maybe feasible to save a few trees but when one has acres of ASH tree woods, there is no saving it.

    Pickup a crossbow if you want to go out in the later part of this yr. Getting proficient with a bow takes time, practice, practice and then some more practice.

    i had a newer Rem Sportsman 1187 start to rust on the receiver. Took it all apart and sent just the receiver to get it cerakoted. No issues since then.
