  1. I am hoping weeds dont take over in the month or so
  2. Hoping to see what I can pull in , farms all around and not much hunting.
  3. I finally broke down and had the dozer come in and clear about 1.5 acre of land on the hill side. The plan is to plant columns of some fruit trees on the border and and in the middle of the plot. The rest will be filled with everything from oats, rye, wheat and clover. Now if only i could get some rain. The next 5 days are all over 90 degrees of a heat wave.
  4. Anyone tried triticale ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triticale
  5. Its been sold again and now a gentleman called Curt owns it.
  6. Interesting to know but isnt Canada closed for now.
  7. Nothing beats practice but why have added wear n tear on limbs and strings. My reason to decock is to silently get out of the hunting area without alerting deer in the vicinity.
  8. Best time is now . But wait for the PH test results. What if you dont need lime?
  9. The beauty with the Sniper model is you can decock it at the end of the hunt without shooting it.
  10. Get the KI or CP370sniper. Cant be beat for price or quality https://www.walmart.com/ip/CenterPoint-Sniper-AXCS185CK-370-Crossbow-Package-Camouflage/47877669
  11. Hi, I would be interested in 5 bags. Let me know how to arrange pickup
  12. fireproof is rated at specific temperature for 15-20 mins at most. Just end up weighing a ton
  13. You can never take out enough. Follow growingdeer.tv and you will learn that one can never remove all predators including coyote.
  14. Still carrying where I have access in 8F.
  15. I believe the brand was simmons or something
  16. Where did you manage to find winter wheat and for how much? I couldnt find any last yr.
  17. I did back a few yrs ago in Bristol/Honeoye region. Nothing touched it, deer didnt even bother with it ever. On the flip side grew that in another field out in Darien area and it got devastated after the hunting season was over. Guessing if it had gotten colder sooner and pods dried up they would have come to it sooner. In my opinion beans are better options in late season if you are planting enough area.
  18. There is a guy on Crossbownation forum that will make you one as big as you like for any crossbow out of aluminum. He does charge around $100 for it though. Machining is better than the Chinese stirrups that are attached by manufactures.
  19. Pardon my ignorance, is the seed delivered or picked up from a certain location?
  20. TSC has them on clearance in store, the 4 pack was like $60
