  1. Thats exactly what I was thinking I was thinking the same, that if i use a 2kLb winch with pulley , I dont need a hoist and that will work with my high ceiling barn, plus I get the longer remote cable or even wireless now. Thx
  2. Get some corrugated roof sheets and screw it on top with over hang on all sides and it will last a long time. Nice job there
  3. Walmart Chili near Rochester had multiple boxes of 30-06 in stock yesterday
  4. How long is the remote wire? I have a 14 foot high ceiling in the barn.
  5. Are you using a gas pipe to hang it on?
  6. 50yards and under that 18" barrel will be still pretty accurate to drop any deer in NY. Finding ammo that it likes to eat will be the challenge OP faces for the short term.
  7. Here is hickock doing the 100yd gong with a really short barrel
  8. On the contrary the meat is falling off the bones..
  9. I am hooked now after hunting with Kmartinson, wish I could go hunt geese every day. Sad that the season is so short and ends on Sept 25
  10. kmartison is an awesome guy and puts you on geese. I did the opener with him and we dropped a few that day. Wish my shooting would have been better too.
  11. This should help https://www.niagarapolebarn.com/ Wood is slightly warmer and breathes better. Steel will sweat
  12. They are not because the blades can swing forward when pulled out and are sharp on the back end as well
  13. Always sight it with broadheads, bow or crossbow. Not matter how well you tune it there will be some difference in impact if using a fixed blade broadhead
  14. That buck got to get the blood pumping..nice one.
  15. Add a wooden handle to drag it and some strap hooks to secure the deer in it. Works great and lasts a long time
  16. So envious. Best of luck in the coming season
