    i am alittle scared . i have seen deer all bow season ( mind you i dont bow hunt ) i have saw big ones . i have watched triplets grow up. i am scared now that i wont see them or anything . i just cant wait to get out into the woods and away from it all to the sounds of the woods and peacfulness . i also want to say please all be safe and careful out there . i want to hear back from all of you . good luck all

    i agree i have been going there for 20 years and since the state took over it is all down hill .no rules no patrolling no one there to help you if needed . use to be 3 people per car park in signed parking hunt that spot . not any more i saw a bus with 8 people in it and they dropped one at a time off as they went down the road . the sad thing is it wont clean up till someone gets hurt out there . i hate to say it but it should be shut down for a few years . ( and i love it over there ) but it is crazier now

    i am just wondering something? if we start hunting these bucks before they start the rut what happens to next year ? no fawns ? no good stock from some of these nice bucks i am seeing. will this opening bow season sooner affect the herds ? no fawns ? (well not no fawns ) but fewer ? just wondering what the affects could be .

    most of cost big bucks to have all those come home with you.awesome pictures . i have hunted those too but on a video game lol .

    i just pee on the ground hard for me to pee out of a tree stand . i have had them come up and smell it and not spook.

    love fishing at black lake great place . they have needle nose gar pike there too . we stay at a cabin on the lake

    they would have different colored hair or wearing big fuzzy boots in the summertime . lol

    it is a sad thing and if you listen many of them thought it was a stunt and not real . so alot of people didnt get to react fast enough . what a shame .

    yes you did see a gar in black lake . but they are called needlenose gar . they do not get as big as the alligator gar . they are still fun to catch . the best way to catch them is to drag a chuck of nylon rope behind the boat or if you see one sunning just drag it close to them they will bite it and it gets caught in their teeth . we fished for them while we were up there . was alot of fun .

    it doesnt matter to me even thou i only see spikes or forks . ( that is all i have ever seen oe shot) . i always go for a doe first . and i only hunt to put food on my table . money has been tight this year with hubby being real sick so i was luck to get my little doe last year the meat helped us out . hopeful i can afford a hunting permit this year .

    i think a bird took a dump on him or there are some plants out there right now with a white foamy stuff on the ( like the milk weeds)
