I was raised the same way minus the beatings. All my dad had to do was look at me with a glare and I high tailed it just like a whitetail to my room for the rest of the night. Nowadays we have to threaten to take away electronics - tv, Xbox, computers, phones, iPod, iPad and the like. But it works - one warning and then good bye electronics.

On today's menu - homemade cavetelli with grated cheese and horseradish, Italian sausage, meatballs and homemade bread and wine. (Heading to inlaws)

I have a soon to be 15 y.o. Daughter for whom we just booked a catering hall for her sweet sixteen next year in March Also have a 10.5 y.o. Son who is into gaming and sport including Hunting! Yippee!

This warm winter means there will be more turkeys around this spring and more chances for us to put a couple down.

I have cable and the prices keep going up through the roof for basic and just the outdoor channel year round and HBO (for True Blood) in the summer. They don't give any promotions to long time customers anymore. Over 150 channels and we don't even watch a fraction of them. The kids watch Nickleodeon, and the like. I watch outdoor channel, storage wars, american pickers and Big Bang Theory and the news occasionally (just too depressing), as well as baseball and football games. The wife watches American Idol and hallmark channel or retro channel. The rest are all a waste.

Advil Sinus Congestion tablet works wonders for me. I usually get the generic brand at CVS/Riteaid but found a box of brand name 40 count at BJs for $11 compared to 10 tablets for $9 at CVS. I also use a nasal rinse bottle with saline. It's like a netty pot except better. I use it in the shower with the packet and warm water. Squirt it up one nostril and out it goes down the other. Your sinuses have to be somewhat clear to use it and you gotta be careful not to squeeze too hard otherwise you can get the water in your ears.

LMAO!!! Good one Grizz! This bickering between the Giants and Pats reminds me of my 10 y.o. son's rivalry with his 9 y.o. cousin who lives in Sudbury. My son is an avid Yankee fan and his cousin is an avid Red Sox fan. They are constantly calling each other every time the Yankees or Red Sox play and teasing each other. Except of course they don't talk about "going down", at least not yet! LOL!

I actually use my peep with it but the manufacturer does say you can use it without the peep. My prob was torque. Not so much with my eyesight. Works for me...
