I put money away in an envelope once and found it 4 years later by accident . Sometimes i sit back and try to visualize the last time I had something and a lightbulb comes on . Works sometimes .

Paula - When we went on our trip to Equador and Peru , some of our flights were on American Airlines . Every one of them was late and the last flight from Miami to DC was a nightmare . I wrote to the AA CEO and we got 2 vouchers for $250 for future flights . Good luck in your quest !

It works as long as you remember where you left the notes .

Often the farther out you book , the less it costs . Costs are always higher around the holidays also .

I put stuff in a safe place and then forget where the safe place is ......... When I go on vacation , i stash my check books , car keys , safe keys and a few other things away . I write down what and where and make an extra copy . That sure helps .

Yesterday at the qwik-fill at Union Hill , i saw a guy take the top off of one of those cigarette butt containers and pick through the butts . He put a bunch in a bag and got back in the car . Someone has to have a real bad cigarette habit to be doing this and apparently can't afford to buy them . No doubt someone on here will be able to put a positive spin on this .

I wasn't having much luck with the traditional Oriole feeder with the orange mix . I would hardly ever see the Orioles . Saw a feeder a friend had and decided to make one . Bought an 88 cent plastic plate at Wally World . Drilled a hole in the middle . Cut a piece of broken rake handle about 7" long and drilled a small pilot hole in each end for screws . Attached the wooden piece to the plate with a screw and put a small screw hook on the other end . Attached 3 small plastic cups to the plate . Drilled several holes in the plate for water to run off . Put Grape Jelly in the small containers and hung it up on a post . The Orioles keep coming back but a robin goes for the jelly as well as a woodpecker and some starlings .

Nice job . I would still put some sort of cross bracing on the legs .

We went to my wife's cousin's cottage at Conesus Lake next to Long Point Park . People were setting off fireworks all over the place . Saw a lot of those Hot Air Bags floating in the sky . Wondered if they would land and cause a fire .Some know it all said once the fire goes out , the air cools and they come down so they aren't hot . I saw a couple of them with the bags catching on fire and dropping last summer and a couple guys got in their pickup and chased down the bags and put out the fire .

I reload for two of my sons for their 270's using the 130 grain Sierra Game Kings . CCI primer , 57 gr Reloader 19 and an OAL of 3.34 . Works for them .

Fastrack give you something like 10 cents off a gallon with their card . No cost for the card but it works like a Debit card . On Sundays , they give either an additional 7 cents or 10 cents off of a gallon . FREE coffee on Fridays . They also have Ethonal Free gas . I see a lot of the Landscapers filling up at Fastrack .

Gotta start carrying an extra pair of shorts . *Yesterday I was doing some Real Estate sign work and hauling my trailer . I was driving East on Ayrault Road toward 250 when some a-hole pulled out of a side street and crossed 2 lanes in front of me . I stood on the brakes and could hear my tires screech . The car behind me almost hit my trailer . *Today I was driving west on Ridge Road in Ontario . A car speeding from the opposite direction came 4 feet into my lane . I pulled over and drove on someone's lawn . I watched in my side mirror and saw the driver go off to the other side of the road . My 1st thought was to turn around , get the license plate number and call the cops . Don't know if the driver was high or having a seizure . I would have had to speed to catch up and probably would have gotten a ticket . Time to start carrying extra shorts ! Stay out of this one Wooly !
