  1. I use to chuckle when I saw someone lift the gas hose thinking they were draining the hose . Nothing goes past the nozzle once you click it off . Then I thought that same hose is used for regular and ethanol so whatever regular gas is in the hose itself , is going to come out first when you switch over to non ethanol . So , possibly a half gallon of regular gas is going into your non ethanol gas tank . So , now when I get my non ethanol gas , I put the 1st half gallon in my car and then pump the non ethanol into my gas can . Anyone else do this ? Sorry , but I was bored .........
  2. I could if I cropped off your head ..........
  3. I bought my Lifetime License several years ago for $50 . I can't remember if that was offered to 60 or 65 year olds . Anyway , it was a great buy !
  4. Maybe the Pony Express's horse died ...........
  5. Went out and shot 15 arrows . 10 at 10 yards and 5 at 20 yards . Felt good . It was only 84 degrees out .
  6. When it does , you might as well hang up the bow . I have my backyard target set up and want to shoot but not in 90 degree temperatures .
  7. Rochester . Not sure where yet . Possibly Highland Hospital . I usually have procedures there due to A-Fib , etc . I could have had surgery done earlier but we are going to Ireland in September and I don't want to mess that up as we wanted to do that trip a couple years ago . Got too many things coming up in the Fall and want the procedure done before the snow falls . I will just have to limp around for a couple more months . I had a partial replacement in my left knee done several years ago . Physical Therapy was a key in recovery . I healed quickly and that knee is fine . As for going bow hunting too early after surgery , I would probably pass as I could screw things up walking on un-even ground . There is always gun season . I didn't get to be 80 by being too foolish .
  8. Archery Season is going to be a short one for me . Tentatively I am scheduled for knee replacement October 6 . That will give me a couple days of Bow and then nothing for 6 weeks . Possibly nothing for the balance of the year . Had x-rays taken today and an ultra sound on my leg tomorrow to check for blood clots . It's rough getting old but it sure beats the alternative .
