2022-2023 Hunting Licenses have gone on sale today . I picked up my Archery / Ml plus Anterless permits for 8G and 8F . I had a brain cramp and meant to get a 8H instead of an 8G but screwed up . I will blame it on old age . I will have to do a tag swap later .

Once in a while we just have to stand back in awe of our government. The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever - to 46 million people. Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves." Thus ends today's lesson with irony.

The only hang on stand I would use any more is one that I have on a tree an a gully bank . I can step off the bank onto the strap on . If it breaks , I only have a one foot fall .

I had a cable break on a chain on stand . It gave me quite a scare . Replaced th cables with chains . I only use ladder stands now and replace the ratchet straps periodically .

Not on any of the gas pumps that I have access to . I have seen people try it .
