Thanks . I assumed that racoons , whatever may have gotten some eggs and that fox & yotes might have gotten some poults . What I had no idea about was when the young ones were left on their own . It just seemed odd to only see 2 poults with 3 hens .

I saw 3 hens this evening with only 2 poults . How long before hens turn the youngs ones loose ? 3 hens with 2 poults makes me wonder if a bunch didn't survive or the young ones are out on their own . Just curious ....

Bob Foulkrod , one of the hunting Gurus , once said that 55 Lbs and under should only shoot "cut on contact" blades . Over 55# mechanicals are okay . -

I use a 240 gr Hornaday XTP in my inline with 90 gr of 777 loose powder and it knocks the snot out of deer ...... -

I took one of my grandsons there last year . Not as many vendors at previous years . I was told that the DEC charges them for spots like other Flea markets and that the DEC had upped the price so many backed out . A few of the Deer Pee collectors had some deer there . -

That small generator would be handy if you needed to run power tools at a camp , etc .. Their tools aren't contractor worthy but they are good enough for the average home-owner . I have been using one of their inexpensive cordless on a regular basis for 3 years and it still works great . Bought my trailer lights there also . Padlocs , locking cable , rachet straps , tarps , grinding wheels , chain saw sharpener , wheel-chair , paint brushes , winch , ni-cad batteries , safety glasses , trailer wheels , etc , etc , etc ...

Morning Doves have to be one of the stupidist birds out there . They come to the feeders and when I rap on the window to shoo away the starlings / blackbirds the doves just keep on eating and looling like , what's going on ... They are plentiful and their coo-ing noise is irritable !

I got mine in the mail Monday so next Monday I will stop at the Town Clerk's office and apply for the anterless permits (at no cost) . I also got the Lifetime Card in the mail the same day .

We were at the Villa Roma in 2003 . It's an okay place . They get a lot of business from NYC and Jersey . I took my fishing pole and did some fishing in the Deleware River . Didn't catch anything but had some fun . A DEC officer came over and asked to see my license (which I had in the car) . This is only the 2nd time in my life I have seen a DEC Officer while hunting or fishing since 1965 ........

Yeah , we had a good soaker yesterday . I was putting up Real estate signs , wore a rain jacket and still got soaked . The pockets on the jacket didn't have snaps and I had to empty the water out a few times . The lawns really needed it as i have seen soooo many burnt up due to the lack of rain . Hope all your food plots do well !

I put one camera out about a week ago in Groveland . It's 60 miles away and I don't know when I will get down there to check it out .
