If you lose your Score Card , it doesn't matter . They have you in their Computer System . All you have to do is give the clerk your name and verify your address and they have your scorecard number . However , getting the $15 off a $50 purchase is a good deal .

It's hard to believe anyone would do this ! Then again ?????

What is a real waste of space is when someone postsand then someone posts 4 or 5 pics with a statement and then someone quotes that post . When you are replying to a post and want to respond to a certain part of the quote , you can delete part of the posted quote rather than have 30 lines of something unnecessary .

Got a pic of these 2 bucks in 2009 . No one saw them in the area all season .........

Yupper , they are a big danger to homeowners pets . Keep your pets inside . Makes me wonder how many of these pet owners are PETA folks that change their mind when little Fluffy or FooFoo gets stomped . :

There is a group of hunters in Italy Valley ( between Potter and Naples ) that practice QDM . They started about 4 years ago and are seeing larger racked bucks . They put their own antler restrictions on each other . If someone shot a small racked buck he / she wasn't chastized as shooting only big racked bucks wasn't mandatory . It was more of a Gentleman's Agreement .

I agree that many of us set our own personal standards as to what deer to harvest . I know there are some nice bucks in a spot where we can hunt in South Bristol and I have passed on some small bucks figuring I would shoot a large doe instead . Well , this past season , I didn't shoot anything there but had opportunities to shoot smaller deer . IT bothered me a bit that I didn't fill an archery tag but I did what was right for me . What someone else does is their business . I did see a couple real nice bucks but they were out of bow range . At least I know there were a couple of big boys around !

The deer was mine . I got pics on my trail cam . It wasn't fair that you shot it ! What a jerk !

If the deer had killed or severely injured the dog , she wouldn't have thought the dog playing with the deer was so cute ! Uhhhhhhh , she should be reported to HSUS .

Yeah , at about 20 cents a pair , it can really add up . If you've never had an infection , it means you never will . Why bother !

Oh heck , I forgot this thread was about hunting State land ! oops !!!

Ya know , that is funny . I have hunted quite a distance from my vehicle but able to see it . And it really kills me to watch deer walk past it at maybe 10 yards or less . About 3 years ago , I was sitting in a tent blind about 100 yards down from my truck ( I now have a Subaru Forester ) that I had parked about 500 yards from the road . I hadn't seen anything in the morning and was back for the afternoon hunt . I figured I would hang in there late as I didn't have to go very far . I was day dreaming and 3 doe hauled butt down through the field about 50 yards out but too fast for a shot . I looked up toward my truck and saw a buck coming my way . I stuck the barrel of my ML out the side window and it was so cold that the tent was brittle . I ticked the side of the tent and the buck ran and stopped at about 40 yards . I had the scope on him all the way and when he stopped to look , I fired . He ran maybe 50 yards and folded up . On the way home , I was thinking , instead of using a tent blind , why not take a 8' X 8' plywood wall and paint a tractor or pickup truck on it with some cutouts to shoot through and have it blend into the background .
