The part I would be leary about doing is replacing the string myself . I got lucky and Moog did it for me . He did a fantastic job !

For those of you that get the NY Outdoor News , there is an interesting article on tuning your bow in the August 7 edition . It mentions how frayed serving and strings can affect other things on the bow and affect shooting . If you don't get this paper , buy the August 7 edition and read the article . Or read the article at the magazine rack ,

Well, I'm in the hospital. This has not been a good day. After spending the last 3 months quarantined inside the house, limited contact with my family or friends since end of March ......enough is enough. So I decided to go for a horseback ride with a good friend. Something I haven't done for a long time. It turned out to be a horrible mistake! I got on the horse and I started out slowly, but then it got crazy windy. I went faster and faster and before I knew it, I was going as fast as that horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my pants on the stirrup. I was being dragged and was bouncing all over the place. The horse just would not stop! Thankfully the manager at Dollar General came running out and unplugged the machine. Then he actually had the nerve to take the rest of my quarters and my bottle of Tequila, so I wouldn't try to ride the damn fire truck or clown car. I have a few scrapes and bruises but nothing's broken. I will wear a helmet next time.

A Navajo Indian Corporal ( had been busted several times ) was a survivor of the battle at the Chosen Reservoir . He said the carbines were not worth a crap as they didn't have the penetration of the M1 or the BAR . Corporal Yubara was a real character .

Lucky is right ! Both of our doorbells work and they never get used with any delivery . Not too long ago , it was reported that a vehicle was following a UPS truck . Someone got the license number and reported it to the police . Never saw anything in the local paper so I don't know if it was true or a made up BS story .

New post on Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District Statement From Commissioner Ball regarding unsolicited packages allegedly sent from China by m@ppleby New York Dept. of Agriculture Commissioner Ball warns about mysterious seeds sent from China “Our office has received questions from a few New Yorkers who have received unsolicited packages allegedly sent from China that are marked as containing jewelry (or other items) but which actually contain plant seeds. Similar packages have been received in other states and the United States Department of Agriculture is investigating. People who receive seeds should not plant or handle the seeds. They should store them safely in a place children and pets cannot access and email USDA immediately at [email protected] for instructions. Seeds imported into the United States are rigorously tested to ensure quality and prevent the introduction of invasive species, insects, and diseases. We will continue to monitor this issue and will pass along guidance as it is received from USDA.” *Note to newsrooms: Please advise consumers to email USDA with their full names and telephone numbers, pictures of the package and any other relevant information. m@ppleby | July 30, 2020 at 2:49 pm | URL: https://waynecountynysoilandwater.org/?p=7888
