Steel bar is straight and mowing is done for now. I'm hoping the clover that was planted will come back. I'm planning to re- seed it next month with clover and hog radish again.

I was looking at the bar that attaches the wheels to the brush hog and I think I should be able to reverse the hook up and that will put the wheels behind the BH not on the sides. The BH is at least 1 foot wider than the tractor on both sides, makes it difficult to mow my lanes that go through the woods. Just not sure there will be enough thread on the adjusting bar to raise and lower the BH to the right height. But it's worth trying.

Got the tractor set up and it mowed great! Until I tried to fit between 2 trees and caught the right tire, bent the bracket out to almost perpendicular! It's supposed to be parallel! Pulled it off and took it to a guy who thinks he can bend it back. It's supposed to look like this one.

I need to get a tire foe 1 side, I tried to patch it but the hole is in the side wall and patches don't hold. I guess the sidewalls stretch and the patch just keeps losing it's seal. It's a 205-70-R14. I should be able to pick up a used 1, just not today.

I picked up a brush hog that fits my friends tractor on clist. I never heard of a Long mfg. but this is really heavy duty!

I've been living in WNY most of my life so I'm a Sahlens dog fan. But I was born in Syracuse and I remember my grandmother bringing us white hots that were awesome! I haven't found anything around here that come close to those. Tried the white hots at Tom Wahls in Avon, not the same. Next time I'm in Syracuse I'll try to find Hoffmans sounds like they might be the ones. She would also bring fry cakes from a local bakery that were the best. (although Paulas donuts are delish!) I have to give a nod to the venison dogs from Wilsons with cheese and jalapenos they are great! Bottom line is natural casings, cooked on real charcoal and topped with what ever trips your trigger, and of course toasted rolls!

So there is a platform(floor) with 2x6 studded walls with osb sheathing, and the b&b siding is placed over with 2x4 horizontal furring? You should cut back the b&b and furring down to the osb, you can nail the new walls to the osb just put in backing ( studs) to make a corner post for nailing the walls to. You will have to cut back the siding enough to be able to flash the new roof including the overhangs(gutters/facia).

Can you post a pic from inside the existing building? It looks like a pole barn. That 6x6 goes up to the roof header and can not be cut out. It looks like board and batten siding on the exterior and osb boards on the inside, I'm not sure do you have 2x4 studding inside of that? You will need a solid tie into the existing building like a corner post. You will probably have to add 2x4 to make the connection solid. Are you planning on a shed roof tied to the building under the existing metal roof or a reverse gable tied into the roof with a valley?
