WOW, very interesting! I too was wondering how do you control the prosthetic hand. I realize it's electric but how does it know when and how to move and grip etc?

I have the "old Geezer" cell phone plan through Consumer Cellular. It costs me $46/mo. taxes included for 2 phones with unlimited calls, 1500 texts/mo. and very limited data.(500mb) iirc. I bought a used Samsung phone for $90 2 years ago and other than the battery starting to wear out, I've had no problems. They use at&t and t-mobile towers. I got the at&t card for my phone as it has better coverage in WNY. My wife bought her phone from CC for $125. If i need more data I can upgrade the plan for $5/mo. But with free wifi I never need to. They are great with customer service. I am a dummy when it comes to setting up my phone and they walked me through everything. I don't use my for for online stuff as I prefer to use the laptop or tablet as the screens are bigger. Probably not the best option if you need a plan with more phones and unlimited data.

This topic got me started, I didn't own a xbow until yesterday! I've been interested in 1 for a while. I did some research on line, talked to friends who hunt w/ xbows and combined with my self imposed budget, I bought a used PSE Fang 350 X7. Under $200 shipped to my house. I will need to get a scope ( it doesn't have 1), bolts and whatever misc. accessories needed. I can't wait to set it up and start shooting!

Thanks, that's the same gun! I don't know why I couldn't find the listing? I've always wanted to get a spring bird with it but I usually take my rem 870 that's set up for turkey first, thinking i will take the BP once I get that 1st bird. Problem is the season is almost over before a get that 1st bird and never get to take out the muzzle loader.

I probably should have posted this here but I have a White B/G series White Thunder 12ga. blackpowder shotgun I was wondering what it might be worth? I tried looking it up on the net but was not able to find any value. Anyone have any idea as to what I might be able to sell it for? Thanks. I can post pics later, but it is a no frills gun, black composite stock open sites, #11 caps, inline. Thanks

TF, I know Hawkeye Bowmen offers a bow certification course and I'm sure Dino can get you and your daughter in. She should do the course with you even if she isn't interested in bow hunting, the class is very informative and it's once and done. Hawkeye has some youth sized bows that she would be able to shoot. Definitely worth looking into it. -

Happy Belated Birthday!! Sorry I'm always late to the party! -
Merry Christmas one and all!!!

Lawd, when we get done trimming your porch, installing the garage door opener, raising that storage rack above your garage door, we might have enough time to tackle the roof raising on your shed. After all it is a long weekend!!! My turn to bust onions, Have a Merry Christmas!

I love all the Christmas movies, each has a special place in my memory for 1 reason or another. I do remember that the original (black and white) Scrooge movie would scare the heck out of me when I was a kid! Defiantly have to give Ralphy in a Christmas Story a top 10 rating. Christmas vacation is up there too. I can't wait to sit around on Christmas eve and Christmas day and watch whatever is on!

Sorels were my go to cold weather boots for years. They were always warm, I would change the liners at noon and I was good for all day. The only problem was when I started hunting Clarence. They are not good in deep water and if you know anything about Clarence it is flat and poor drainage therefore you have to wear rubber boots. I now wear a pair of Rangers, got them at Lockport Outdoor store. They have a removable foam/polyester liner, all rubber exterior, and they are warm! A little bulky and not the best arch support but you have to trade off something for waterproof and warm.
