  1. If you read down at the bottom, it specifies that most shell companies list their velocities from a 30" barrel length. Was interesting to see what a shorter barrel puts out.
  2. Look's like a press conference will be this morning confirming his decision to retire!!! Great job Payton.....
  3. Think I got one of these unit's when they first came out on the market years ago. Best thing to keep bugs away since sliced bread. Be sure to get the holster for it as well, holds an extra Butane bottle and several insect repellant pads as well. Wouldn't leave the house without it...
  4. Woke up this morning, and as I was making some coffee, I noticed out the window looking in my backyard, 2 Robins!! They are finally here!!! Spring is right around the corner now!!!
  5. Thanks grampy, no fun being or feeling sick.
  6. I agree Lawdwaz, love to see and hear the first Cardinals of the year, as well as the first Robins. We should be starting to see the return of them very shortly. That tells me that spring turkey season is not to far behind.
  7. In the process of making a "pot" call display rack for my computer room/office. Problem is I caught a dandy of a cold and feel like crap right now. So I hope to continue with this latest piece when I feel better. Here is a picture of that project in it's early stages. Will post a pic after it's on the wall and stocked with calls!!! LOL....
  8. Seen that on my Fox news app. Think they said the front plate was missing, and when she got pulled over that's when they noticed the fake back plate!!! Some people never cease to amaze me!!

Thanks for the introduction, Danno!!! Have to admit, we do go back many years ol' buddy. Think the last NWTF convention we were at was back in 2005? Think the very first time I met you and Slater was at Chuck's place for a goose hunt. That was the infamous thermos episode!!! Then it went downhill from there.....lol. Yeah, I attended Orchard Park for my 10-12th years, and went to the "Quaker Boy" barber shop for my haircuts. Dick Kirby, as we all know by now, was a barber before hitting it big with a turkey call company. I remember his young son Chris running around the shop while being in the chair. Chris was knee high to a totem pole back then. Sad that he passed away, was a great guy for sure.
  10. This is another bird of the past, wanted to show his spurs.
  11. Rare site to see, yet alone catch it on film!!!! Very impressive!!!
  12. Uncle Nicky, that's something I want to start doing myself, saving a fan or two. In all these years that have gone by, I tried a few times to have them dry on a cardboard, salted, etc. but, they ended up getting rather stenchy smell wise, so I gave up! I guess I have to try again since I do make a display for them as well.
  13. Congrats on a dandy buck!!! Like you, I happened to get a 10 pointer back in the 2013 bow season, my first as well. Great feeling for sure.
  14. Personally, I have had luck right off the roost, till almost the noon hour some years. What are some of your thoughts on this for your hunt success? (I cut this chart from an old Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine years ago because I thought it was interesting to view).
  15. Ouch, didn't think they ran that much. I guess it depends on the size of the unit you had installed?
  16. I was thinking of having that done some day as well. Guessing for the entire job, plus equipment, around $2300 - $2900?
  17. Nice pic's for sure!! Took this one near a good friend of mine who use to live in Pembroke, NY. Passed this carved wooden statue, and had to take a picture. Sad, but about a month later someone stole it right off this guys front porch!!
  18. Cute baby, must be related to Hilary?
  19. Always like him as an actor.
  20. Long time no hear from my friend. Hope all is well. I was out of touch and shop for a number of years due to a nasty divorce. Hopefully, by the end of this month I can be back into production again.
