  1. Yes, that is pretty cool indeed!!!
  2. Well, sad to say, from the guy I talked to at his farm, this is a terrible year for the sap run due to the warm weather and no frost. He stated that "maybe" they will get a 1/4 or 1/3 of the syrup that they normally do at this time of the year!!!
  3. Yep, me and my honey will be headed out shortly to a place in Boston. Nice sunny day, but a little chilly....
  4. Happy Birthday Danno!!! Is that your new B-Day present?
  5. My favorite beer, bar none!!!! Nectar of the Gods!!!
  6. Totally agree!!! Dumbest thing you ever heard!!!
  7. I admire you for tackling a tile job. I haven't made an attempt at a project like that yet!!! Being a woodworker, the old saying is "measure 3x and cut once". Well I can't tell you how many times I thought everything was perfect, only to have forgot one thing that screwed up that piece!!!! Have to be 4 steps ahead mentally every single time!!!
  8. Look's like you have a winner there!!! Beautiful gun!!!
  9. Chumlee reminds me of "mikey" on orange county choppers!!! The class clown of the show!!!
  10. Your right, it must of been the other site!!
  11. Yes, I bought 2 of them, one for each summit stand. I was very impressed at the way they held the bow tight, without even moving a smidge while he was showing how they work. Got the ones that were already camoed up. Also bought those tether straps for the stands too!!! Next year, will get those silence strips for the stand platform.
  12. Wooly, if you go today, I am sure he will be there. Tom Miranda has a booth right next to Tim.
  13. Think just for advertising the forum? They had some flyers there as well as decals you can buy for $2.00.
  14. I have about 12 pot calls now in my collection, although some I like better than others. Slates work well as long as there is no moisture involved. I have one that was made by David Halloran that I picked up at the NWTF convention over 10 years ago. Still sounds great to my ears. I also have one of his glass calls as well. I have most types of call surfaces made, and I have to admit, a couple of my glass calls are my go to calls that ride in my vest.
  15. Well went to the show yesterday, got there at noon and stayed until 3pm. Met a member from this forum, but already forgot his name...lol!!! Picked up 2 bow holders for my Summit climbers along with some tether strapping, a new glass pot call from "Mountain Hollow" game calls and 2 mouth calls. Renewed my NRA membership for another 5 years at a reduced rate, and got a $25.00 gift card to Cabela's in the process!!! Met Tim Herald there, pygmy and I have known Tim for many years, met him at the NWTF convention's back in 2003-2005, believe he was working as a Pro-Staffer for Knight & Hale back then. Has his own consulting/outfitter company now. Glad I went, haven't been to this show in a couple of years. P.S. I also stopped by the HuntingNY.com booth and picked up a sticker for my shop wall. Great time....glad I went!!
  16. Still working in my woodshop, trying to set up a finishing room, so I will have a place for a dust free stain/finishing place. Also want to got out and pattern my turkey gun again, just to make sure everything is set to go for the opener.
  17. I use to use one made by Red Wolf years ago. Never had any luck actually bringing in a gobbler to the sound of that call. I guess others have had some success while using one, but for me, no.
  18. Will try to make it sometime on Friday as well, have other plans with my GF on the weekend due to the nice weather in the Forecast.
  19. Less crap on your roof too!! LOL
  20. That's what suks about that airport parking. They cram them in sardine tight, and don't give a rats ass about your vehicle. Take em to court!!
  21. I agree, he was washed up. He was very lucky that his team had a great defense, or the patriots would of been in the big game. Nothing bad about retiring after a superbowl win. Good way to bow out.
