Relic hunting metal detecting

Not a lot of those clay pipes are found intact. It was common practice back then to snap off a small length of the stem when giving the pipe to others to smoke. Happened a lot in taverns where you could buy a smoke of a pipe and they would snap off the stem, fill it and you smoked it. -

Just a suggestion. Don't get the goals too lofty. Still want to make sure that everyone is enjoying it and not getting turned off after the first year. -
Actually his resources could have bought him the help he needed. He could have had the best treatment that money could have bought. Unfortunately this disease really does make them feel like there are no options and they are alone in their struggle.

They just caught the Greene Co. murder suspect
Culvercreek hunt club replied to PREDATE's topic in General Chit Chat
I was saying just that to my wife last night after we heard about Robin Williams. I said what if this guy didn't do it and he was running because he was speeding and in a suicidal mindset over the ex wife. I am sure they must have eyewitness or something because they seemed pretty confident about the make and color of the car -

Where to set up at a new farm?? Advice please
Culvercreek hunt club replied to regulat0r's topic in Bow Hunting
I would be looking at the woods and asking why the farmer is seeing the deer there. How are the deer using that woods. Is there a bedding area in it? is it mature woods and the deer pass through to head to the fields. Maybe the bedding are is off the end of that "football field" sized woods. You may be able to get in there easily. As Growalot said...once you answer a few of those questions it will be wind....wind....wind...and how is the wind moving. -
Find out before you go on the hunt who does it and there experience with it. If you are getting it mounted or a rug made, inexperience in the cutting and care can cost you the hide quickly with a bear. (learned the hard way). Find out how many they have done. Good place to ask may be a local taxidermist, they will know who has handled them correctly and who has botched them. Aside fro the hide handling the actual butchering isn't all that different that a deer. So about any could handle the cutting.

And in terms of him passing the "no brow genetics" on, remember that half of the genetic soup comes from the doe and there is now way to tell what she is bringing to the table.
