  1. Love it Tons of ideas for the wood behind it, just hit the Google Or call wooly ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  2. Stay away from the head.... But if you must do a head or neck, you better be dang sure of your abilities as a marksman. 1 inch off and that deer could end up wounded and not recovered AKA coyote bait. But, if a neck shot is well placed, DRT. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  3. Wow. So many rear enders on here ! I'm with others that will not take that shot. Not sure wolc, why you say if we don't take that shot we should enjoy frozen chicken..... I don't take that shot, and I've got plenty of meat in the freezer. Maybe ass shooting and balls eating is something I'm missing out on, but I'm good with that. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

  5. You are what you aim for... Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  6. Most is pressured, some isn't. As somebody already mentioned, deer can 100% change their pattern during and after season. My .o2 about state land, is an easy one for the SZ. Hunt during season. Forget about scouting the deer, scout the hunters. If you can get away from the beaten paths, you will find the deer. Snow will obviously make it easy for you. Put in your time during season, see where guys are going, and make a plan to go the next year. Throw some cams up and pound the ground early September and get a spot or two ready for bow. If you can find a consistent bedding area that appears to be hunter free, plan on being there on the down wind side for bow and gun season. Anyone will tell you, to be consistently successful on public, you gotta put in the time and learn the land. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  7. In the ass and out the neck, with no damage to the guts. Now THAT is amazing. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  8. Moog is captain this year, but I'm sure WE would love another gun and some fellowship in the dog woods. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  9. I do get a little crazy under the full moon. It's usually best if I stay in those nights. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  10. I will gladly "waste" a 1lb or 2 of meat and immobilize a deer with a shoulder shot. All day. Everyday. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  11. Saw this one, figured I'd pass it on. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  12. I'd bet he beds close enough to the field to see you coming. If he's mature, you may only get one chance at him. Trying a doe or buck decoy near your stand would be a good option, as it shouldnt spook him away but could draw him in to you. If that doesn't work, your gonna have to wait for a good wind and get in where your seeing him in the field. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  13. But devastating to shoulders.... Which I think is his point. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  14. I will not put a dollar value to my end of the barter, and my offer still stands. Btw. When are we going out ?!! Since you have this presumption of my awful guiding skills, the wheel is yours for 2019-2020 !!! I'll just bring a rifle and be ready to shoot. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  15. A .22 should go through a whitetails neck...... And if your picking your shot, ANY rifle caliber can kill a deer Any round you listed of will go through ribs/ behind the crease. Copper bullets are prob best for what your looking for, in most calibers. Rem copper solids, Hornady American whitetail, etc. As far as 2 holes being a necessity ? I definitely disagree with that. 16. Trade for 3ish guided yote hunts ? Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  17. Depends. Are you a shoulder guy, or behind the crease guy ? Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  18. 37.50 shipped Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  19. It was the right thing to do shooting a wounded deer. I am encouraged by your ethics. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  20. Nuts on the menu tonight !!! Congrats ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  21. You have my offer. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  22. I highly recommend you consider changing your mind on not backing out and leaving a deer over night. It's the right thing to do, sometimes. Again, I'll have to assume you have never had a deer that's sat over night, or a gut shot deer.... As I have and again could not tell ANY difference in taste. For a guy who eats balls, I'm surprised your even concerned with taste. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  23. Dad finally scored tonight. First tag for 19'. Im certain this is the longest he's ever gone in my life without a kill. A tender deer, that will surely taste fantastic. I hunted up north and was able to snag a fresh roadie to add to tonight's pile. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  24. Waats a madda fa you ?!! I would have just said to save the ammo. If you donate cause you don't know how to cook it, don't shoot at em if you don't know how to kill them.... Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  25. Just be sure to keep the order correct. Scout steaks on top in the freezer, and eat him first. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
