  1. P/y is 125. Booner is 160 Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  2. Well, I don't hunt out of state so a NY'r it is ! If I had my way it will be a "home grown". Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  3. That's a tough one ! I just had this conversation with Moog the other day, if / when I kill a booner, I'm getting a full body mount. Not sure I'll have any money left for the book entry fee. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  4. Oh billy. Are you suggesting that we would fight ? I'm not one for show boating on the inter webs cause anybody can play a tough guy. I can tell you this for sure, I don't ever want to be 1 foot away from you. But, for funs sake, let's meet at Stewart, at midnight, (if there's any parking available) and we can settle things at the dozer sign, like gentleman. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  5. Taxidermists better treat you that way! Most taxi's in want wouldn't be in business if they were only doing p&y bucks. It's the the idiots that are generally jealous that will bash you. You say modest, but I guarantee it's a trophy to you and your son. The only book that matters is the one you write with every memory you make in the woods with your son ! 6. I thought ahead.....bring on the bacon Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  7. Old ? He's not even alive yet ! I'd call him Marty..... Sweet mount though. Looks great ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  8. So, I'll take my idea which was already said but two fold. Mountain on one side, American flag on the other. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  9. Dont be half as$ like billy, log off and just stay off. As far as real help, I got nothing. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  10. You should keep the volume low if your gonna try and do 2 sets. I'd have to see it to be more helpful, but I would hunt an area with some sort of cover for your backdrop, as little disturbance on entrance as possible, best spot for the wind and give it 20 minutes before you crank the volume. I think any decent caller will reach out well past your 80 acres and pull preds in. May take time for them to commit, but getting across 80 acres is about 2 minutes time for a committed dog Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  11. Had my mitts on plenty of Yotes and my dogs are still alive. Think of the guys who run dogs for Yotes, they wouldn't risk it. I'm not saying it's not possible but I feel it's highly unlikely. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  12. Eat em !! Yote backstraps are fantastic Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  13. My Jack went to to toe with a yote. They never fought thankfully, but she had the fortitude to hold her ground against a big dog. I was right there for the whole thing, running a chainsaw. This yote came up on us early spring and had no fear of me or the chainsaw. My lesson was learned to always take a gun out !! When I got back to the house I grabbed a gun and went back out. Snow showed she watched us go back to the house then followed our tracks for awhile. Kill em all Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  14. Send it !!! Have fun down there Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  15. Decoy/ attractor for daytime is a must, night it's not needed Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  16. Agree. The 53gr / .223 put a hurt to the dog last night. He vanished after shot. Dead before he hit the ground and not even a twitch. I've found that bullet to be the best, if your after fur, ribcage. You want a dead dog, shoulders. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  17. Who got the black dog !??! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  18. Fantastic evening ! Thanks for the invite again, my friend. It's late so I'll have to do inventory on my gear when I get up. Moog's guide service, A+ Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  19. Both prices sound good, lease and insurance. As far as paying so others can't hunt your bordering properties, it's worth every penny ! I've been doing that for as long as I can remember. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  20. Mucks. I have a turkey through early season pair and another pair for late season. Constantly had cold feet, till I did the mucks. Boot liners with wool socks varying in thickness for temps. Once we hit teens and below I switch to pack style with thermacell insoles. My oldest pair of mucks is prob pushing 10? Years. Still as waterproof as the day I bought them and they get abused and put away wet, literally. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  21. Fooled another newbie. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  22. Any service that gets texts will get pics sent plus most cams have an app for a smartphone. Bushnell is 10/mo for up to 1500 pics Also has gps so if it's stolen, you can track it. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  23. The 2 I mentioned are smaller. Work fantastic but I wouldn't butcher a deer with them. Sternum and pelvic cuts are a beeze Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
  24. If you want it to be more field oriented, flip-n-zip smaller folding from outdoor edge or Gerber makes one with a really nice ergo handle. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk
