oh boy, i made out like a bandit this year... A new 17.5 foot ladder stand, 2 person A mtm Predator shooting rest ThermaCELL Heated Insoles A Gerber bone saw Gerber skinning knife, a gutting knife with hook, and a great scabbard (with a built in sharpener) for them both. One of those tree stand umbrellas. A 3D bow target stand with wheels, I can't wait to use it. A little bolt on accessory shelf with hooks, for a tree stand. A Browning Strike Force trail cam That's it for hunting related things, which is the bulk of my Christmas booty... I got a few other little nick-nacks. Also, my birthday is the 25th, so those things include that. I made out like a bandit!

You're probably right. He looked perfectly fine when I was watching him last night digging up acorns. You can bet I'm shooting him if he walks by my stand too!

This pic is from a trail camera in PA. Gun season hasn't opened yet, but that dosent rule out some one shooting him with a firearm... I have more pics, I'll post when I get home. I actually saw this deer in person last night, that chunk of what ever was just dangling by his neck. Very strange looking, it reminded me of velvet coming off an antler.

I laughed...

Mine was a button buck that I thought was a doe. Last day I could hunt that season, last 30 minutes of shooting light. The deer jumped up in front of me as I was walking back to camp (feeling a little defeated I might add). It stared at me for a second, then took off running up a ridge. I used the iron sights on my rife under my scope and took a shot while it ran up the hill. I hit him good and he came crashing back down the hill flipping end over end, and fell close to where he jumped up from. The rest is probably too graphic to share here, but I will say I remember my left leg shaking nearly uncontrollably. Didn't realize it was a buck until starting to gut him.

I'm only worried about the two legged animals out there...
