Some PA deer from camp this year.

Neighbor hunts PA big time. He will be happy. Also shoots some nice deer there but its hard hunting. He has been doing it for a very long time. His dad has a camp and they use the rail tracks to get in. No shit the thing you pump up and down to move along the tracks!

Pulled cards Super bowl Sunday on the Island. Had over 7 bucks on video only one deer had shed so far.

My neighbor found these today. Two different deer right next to each other.

My neighbor shot one a few years ago weighed 219. This is in Steuben county. Thing looked like a horse.

Father in law used to hunt there a long time ago. Actually used a boat to get around. Told me of stories of breaking up ice to get the boat through. Best story was when the forest ranger came and gathered up all the hunters to help fight a forest fire. I miss him and his stories! Have a great time!

5 on the Island. My crazy daughter of 14 wants me to bring her hockey skates to school when I pick her up. There is a big frozen puddle in the middle of the athletic field, she wants to skate on it this afternoon! crazy kid.

The guys who run them by me make sure they have a pretty good size area before they start. There is no way they can control the dog from running onto a smaller parcel without permission. That said the chase usually moves right along until the yote is circled back to the shooter. By us it's out of the norm to say no to these guys, so many coyotes hurting the deer population. Last year they shot 17 by us.

We have wind farm in Howard. It's on the south side of 17 I'm on the north. I see it during the day and the red lights at night doesn't bother me. Another wind farm 3x as big is going up on our side. We were to be a part of it but they killed the leases a year ago, too costly to connect and too much protected waters around me. About 3 weeks ago surveyors were on my property. My neighbor talked to them and they said my land was going to be used in the wind farm. They nicely surveyed my property making it along all the boundaries. Well I called the project manager to let him know the leases were terminated. He looked into it and told me it was a mistake, "you and 5 other properties had surveys completed' it was old information in the system that was never updated. These people can be trusted...lol

Guy just left. Said crawl spaces could be better insulated. There are two rooms that were built of a crawl space. Also said baseboard in those rooms could be upgraded. Rest of the house he would like to see the radiators cleaned 1 time a year. Said on super cold days get the furnace heating the house before cold sets in. Said its easier for the furnace to keep up. Thats it I didn't get involved.
