  2. Just noticed this one. Looks like a 1 racked buck. You can see his tines when he passes that branch for a moment. 1st second of the video. This guy looks real big hope to get a better shot of him.
  3. From my house over on the North Shore in Northport. Top video the deer is limping. Have yet to get the real big 8 pt on video. I have about 6 other bucks that I got video from. Hope to find some sheds!
  4. Got into watching some YouTube videos last night and found "Deer Tour" the hunting public. Its been a while since I liked a deer hunting series. This was good and I'll watch in the future.
  5. Wow. 2 3/4 Lightfield brought down my buck this year like a ton of bricks at 100 yards. I can't imagine 3 1/2!
  6. So if acres of corn are left unharvested and the deer have this to feed on through the winter will acidosis not take place? I guess what I'm saying is if corn is available will they eat it through the winter until its gone and not get sick. The problem is that deer digestion is a finely tuned physiological process. Just the right combination of microorganisms, enzymes, and pH enable deer to digest a normal winter diet of woody vegetation. When offered a sudden supply of corn, a deer’s digestive system doesn’t have time to adjust to a high carbohydrate diet. The result can be acute acidosis followed by death within 72 hours.
  7. Diagnostic policy service not running. I'm a Mac guy but the kids have Windows. When trying to connect to the internet I get this message. I can connect on my Mac so I have tried a bunch of things from the internet but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated! FL

  10. So we live on the north shore of Long Island. Been here in this house 20 years. In the last three years been seeing deer in the area. Took a walk this afternoon with my dog. Came across some buck rubs in a wooded area by the house! Now I'll start looking for sheds!
  11. I'll grill them like burgers. Enjoy!
  12. Wow, he is handsome! A good day in the field.
  13. We have a huge 8 pt living in a sump over in Northport. Be checking for his sheds in a few days.

  17. I have a 2007 Tahoe. Have 227000 miles on it. 1st motor only went 197000. I love the truck so I put a refurbished motor in it. Knock wood tranny is still good.
