  1. Ok I'm back. Here is the story......damn bears really know how to screw up a trail cam! My first spot is in the woods with a nice little plot. As you know we have a number of bears in the area. Well this one bear opens the trail cam and twists it around the tree. Got some real funny pictures of him. The one that is a bit blurry I think is an image of his whole face???? I will put the picts in two sets. The final set is the clover plot in the swail. Have a real nice bear on that one. He has been around for a couple of years and really filled out this year. Some deer and oh almost forgot the aliens were down to take a sample of my clover....check out that pict! Enjoy....oh yea got two birds mating in one pict I think?
  2. Thanks all! Those guys earn their keep. Think I'll keep them around for another season...............
  3. Had the trail cameras out for about a month. Hoping to have some really good picts from the clover plots! I'll post Sunday night.
  4. Got it. My ex wife is the Department chair of Social Studies at POBPHS. Small word!
  5. Lots of cement! Still in the city....... be at camp this weekend though!!!
  6. Congrats! My daughter just finished middle school moving on to HS next year! No middle school in your district?
  7. Climbing sticks are the way to go. Should be able to find them for 40 bucks or so on sale. I got a deal last year from Kmart or Wally world, Stand and sticks were 49.00 plus 2.50 shipping.Look for the deals.
  8. What causes them to stay together and to be able to be moved by you?
  9. Brett, Welcome to the site. You will find all kinds of great info here!
  10. How we invented the gun. This show is amazing so far, enjoy.
  11. That's gonna cost ya, back to work!
  12. I have crops all around me. I don't put too much thought into what will bring them in, rather the location is key. Clover for me is the best. A deer traveling through his hometown will always stop to munch on clover. Placing that food plot is the key for me because they have so much to eat in my area. My food plots are in-line with travel routs to thick bedding areas.
  13. Same here, bow gets all the attention from me. I take two days at gun season, the rest are weekend trips.
  14. My 14 year old Daughter shoots Diamond Razors edge. Good beginner bow and my niece shoots a Bear apprentice in pink camo!!
  15. Found this interesting. http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/11/news/companies/trackingpoint-gun/index.html?iid=HP_LN
  16. Steve and Doe have been real busy lately working on my food plots, they have no time to post. They should be done sometime this year!
  17. 3 inch copper tops are a bit too much for me. 2 3/4 are just fine!
  18. Use copper tops in my 1187. Always do the job.
  19. Great picture. It's funny how we view these animals that kill deer. We can take picts of them as pups and think they are cute. They grow up and we want them all dead. I had a litter of fox pups this year on my property. We watched them for a weekend and they were entertaining playing around waiting for mom to come home to eat. Found a turkey and deer leg by the entrance of the den. When I told some people about it some comments were "did you kill the bastards" they eat fawns and small game. Meanwhile this person has about 5 outdoor cats roaming all over the place. I bet you they do more damage than the fox.........
